Privacy & Analytics

Updated October 10, 2026

iilib is a reference and decision-support website. Our research and interactive tools work without analytics cookies. Google Analytics is optional and is only loaded when a visitor selects “Allow analytics.”

What analytics measures

With permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, approximate geography, device and browser information, and usage of research pages and tools. Our custom Workbench events measure actions such as changing a calculator setting, choosing a model, or sharing a result. We do not include your free-text search, entered token counts, budgets, or calculated dollar amounts in those custom events. Our GA4 page-view configuration excludes URL query parameters.

Google Analytics may use cookies and process technical data as described inGoogle’s Privacy Policy. Enhanced measurement settings in Google Analytics can generate additional events beyond our custom Workbench events. We do not use this integration for Google Ads personalization.

Your choice

You can allow or decline analytics when prompted. Your preference is stored in your browser’s local storage so we can remember it on future visits. If you decline, iilib does not download its Google Analytics tag.

To change your preference, select Analytics settings in the footer of any page. Revoking consent stops subsequent tracking from this site; it does not retroactively delete data already collected. Browser settings can also be used to clear site cookies and stored preferences.

Other data and external links

iilib is served through web infrastructure that may process routine requests and security logs. Links to official provider documentation, research sources and other websites are governed by those services’ own policies. This page describes iilib’s own optional analytics integration, not every third-party service linked from our research.
